Verizon is an American wireless network operator that previously operated as a separate division of Verizon Communications under the name Verizon Wireless. Verizon's mobile network is the largest wireless carrier in the United States, with 143.3 million subscribers as of the end of Q4 2022. The company also sells accessories and gear for mobiles and PCs. Verizon Communications is headquartered at 1095 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, but is incorporated in Delaware. Verizon Communications Inc. acquired Qwest (formerly US West) in 2011 and later became Lumen Technologies in 2020. Verizon offers wireless plans on the largest 4G LTE network and was the first to 5G. The company also offers Fios for the fastest internet, TV, and phone service.
