OUR STORY
On Sam Hollander's (Co-Founder + CEO) 18th birthday, he opened up a brokerage account and purchased stocks in three companies he had been a loyal customer of. He decided to take investing advice from legendary investors, Warren Buffet & Peter Lynch, and follow their general thesis, "Invest in what you know."

In the summer of 2021, one of these companies started offering shareholder benefits & rewards to their investors. As a financial optimizer, Hollander was quick to take advantage of the rewards.

He noticed that offering shareholder rewards were a win-win for both investors and public companies. For investors, the value proposition is no longer just to hope the stock price goes up -- it's about adding utility & value. For the company, they’re now able to engage & communicate with a large and loyal segment of its market.

When Hollander realized the market opportunity, ShareClub was born. Hollander teamed up with experienced developer and colleague, James LePage, and the two started working on a platform that would offer shareholder benefits and rewards to individual (retail) investors in the US.

FOUNDING TEAM
We’re a team of experienced tech entrepreneurs, and developers (& also retail investors) dedicated to bridging the gap between public companies and their everyday investors.
Sam Hollander, serial tech entrepreneur and self-proclaimed financial hacker, is the Co-Founder + CEO of ShareClub. Hollander has extensive experience building & scaling startups. He previously founded FSCL a FinTech startup in the student lending space, SPHMedia, a content marketing firm and worked at FinTech unicorn, Wealthfront. Hollander has been an active retail investor since his 18th birthday.
James LePage, tech entrepreneur and experienced web developer, is the Co-Founder & Director of Tech & Operations at ShareClub. LePage scaled Isotropic, a web development agency from a one-person operation to 5 employees and a robust portfolio of 6-figure projects. LePage is also the former founder of WappCap, a top-rated financial media platform where he wrote top articles for SeekingAlpha.com.
